Gazdaş Starts Transmitting Natura! Gas in Gaziantep Gaziantep Doğal Gaz Dağıtım AŞ. (GAZDAŞ), a subsidiary of Zorlu Energy Group, completed infrastructure investments in nearly a year and started gMng natural gas to Merveşehir in Gaziantep. Muzaffer Yalçın, the Gaziantep Regional Manager of Gazdaş, said "Except for regions that have problems regarding building permits and infrastructure, we will be introducing natural gas to all districts with a building permit in Gaziantep by the year 201 1 ." Gas in 2008 Gümüşhane Municipality and Çoruhgaz Regional Directorate signed a protocol concerning the natural gas delivery to the city. After signing the protocol, Mayor Mustafa Canlı and the Regional Manager Tamer Akaslan made the announcement that the natural gas will come to Gümüşhane in September 2008, saying that they will light the first match a year from now together with Mustafa Canlı. Gümüşhane Mayor Mustafa Canlı said the following: "We have signed the naturaı gas protocoı with Çoruhgaz Regional Director. Mentioning that they will complete the natural gas infrastructure investments within a year, Çoruhgaz Regional Director Akaslan said, 'We were the only company to enter the tender opened by the Energy Market Regulatory Authority. Our company will distribute natural gas to Gümüşhane and Bayburt tor the next 30 years. We will bring the natural gas from the main pipe by the Yeniyol village to the center of the city by following the 1 5 km road. We are obliged to bring the gas to the city within the next 1 8 months.
