The aim of this magazi s to enlighten the appropriate sector with regard to every aspect of natural gas. This includes "'""·,_,,.•nnologjes with their application in this field, the discussion of the problems, inter-sec ommunications and the effective and safe usage of natural gas. We began to publish our se magazine, namely the lndustrial, Commerciiıl and Domestic Service Systems ·Magazine on nuary 1993. it consists of information and technical articles on fundamentals, applications, systems and quipments. These two magazines are published every other month and distributed to their readers hroughout Turkey and abroad, free of charge. TEKNİK YAYINCILIK, TANITIM A.Ş. alsa organizes seminars, symposiums and congresses on technical subjects. We have so far organized five seminars on natural gas. The last one of them was in May 1992. We alsa organized lstanbul First lnternational Symposium on Natural Gas Utilization and Conversion along with an exhibition in November 1992 Our 1993-1994 Symposium and Seminar Program is as follows: THERMIE: Energy for our Environment (November 1993) This symposium will be held in lstanbul in November 1993 with the main support of Ministry of Environment and the Energy Commission of European Community. The main objectives of THERMIE Program are; to improve energy efficiency and environmental protection and to encourage market penetration of new applications. The THERMIE program is an important Community instrument, designed to promote the use of energy efficient technologies far five years, (from 1 990 to 1 994) and a high budget is determined for this period. ENERGY WITH ALL ASPECTS iN 2000'S (April 1994) This program will be realized in April 1994 in lstanbul with the main support of Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and the Energy Commitee of the United Nations. The headlines of the program are as follows: 1. Energy Resources of 2000's: Conventional Energy Resources, Nuclear Energy, Renewable Energy Resources, Cogeneration. 2. Ener,gy Policies: lnternational Energy Policy, The Energy Policies of Developing Countries in 2000' Privatization. 3. Energy Efficiency and Environment 4.· Regional Cooperation and lnte_gration ISTANBUL 2nd INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON.
