Özellikle konut tesisleri için SUMMARY Enka Construction and lndustry Company has built and put into operation a cogeneration plant with gas turbines in Krasnodar area of Russia which is successfully in operation since beginning of 1 995. in this plant, heat accumulators were installed which bring flexibility to the plant operation by creating a new mode of operation in addition to the primarily electric and primarily heat generation modes of operation based on the parallel operation of the cogeneration plant with the grid as foreseen for this paper. Espacially in summer time, the cogeneration plants have to operate on primarily electric generation mode. This means the loss of exhaust gases through the bypass stack since the heat load in summertime is relatively small. in order to avoid energy losses in such cases, heat accumulators are installled in the cogeneration plants. in this way, by the operation of the gas turbine together with the waste heat recovery boiler, the heat is loaded onto the heat accu mulator. The heat demand of the process or housing complex is provided through the heat accumulator upto the time when it becomes empty (temperature drops down). Then the gas turbine is put into operation once more and loading of the heat accumulator is repeated. For some process plants, the heat accumulators ar replaced by steam accumulators and they have the same sort of operation similar to the heat accumulators. With the usage of heat accumulators in the cogeneration plants, the differences in the generation of electric and heat energies in summer and winter times can be easily compansated. �u yazı lstanbul 2.
